To all Shiki fans and loyal customers,

My name is Shinichi Mathy, the owner and designer of the Shiki brand in SL. I am sad to inform you that I have decided to close Shiki. All Shiki landmarks will no longer work as the sim has been sold off to a buyer.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the love and support you have all given me throughtout my career in SL. I have enjoyed every step of the way and cherish the memories I have had with designing in SL. 

During my time in SL, I've been fortunate to have met some of the most awesome people, including my loyal customers, my VIP members and colleagues whom I've had the privilege and honor to have worked with. 

Finally I would like to thank everyone for allowing me to share my creativity in this virtual world. It's been a great ride and although it has ended for now, who knows what the future holds.

For now, the former Shiki has ended. However I have plans to open a smaller boutique style shop in SL in the very near future.

It's only gonna get hotter and hotter. Here at Shiki we're turning up the heat with this year's Shiki Summer Heat Photo Contest!

The rules are simple. Styling can be done in any way you like as long as the main piece you wear is Shiki. Second, the photo must reflect this year's slogan "Summer Heat".

Points that the photo will be judged on are as follows:
* Interpretation, a clear connection and execution to this year's "Summer Heat" slogan.
* Styling
* Artistic approach and visual aesthetics of the picture
