The hoodie and signature jeans for women

The women's jeans have much smaller sculpted prims for the smaller woman's avie. These come with the SHIKI logo on the back pocket and details everywhere. A simple design that doesnt look grunge or worn out too much. Simple comfort and style is the design concept of these jeans.
The women's hoodie also is cut a bit smaller especially the sculpted parts of the hood and sleeves. The hood is attached to the spine so that it leaves room for a scarf or necklace.

Wena in Kowloon

Here's Wena, in SHIKI's KURONEKO winter dress. KURONEKO means black cat in Japanese and this dress is slinky and sexy with a touch of class.
While walking through Kowloon at night, she turned heads with this number. She visited a couple of bars and had a late night snack with a stranger. A few hours into the night, she headed home to get some rest. It was a very good night.

Winter collection....MORE!!!

I always wanted to try and make a hoodie for my avie. For the design, I kept the pattern from the dress below and used it for this hoodie. I also added a sculpted hood with flexi strings and sleeves for a warmer look. The SHIKI logo decorates the front.

My friend wanted me to create a party dress for winter. I wanted to keep the theme black for this collection and also wanted to make sure I added something special to each piece. For this one, I created a collar and belt out of black beads. A semi-transparent skirt and fur cuffs add to the winter elegance.

New outfits for winter 2008

This leather jacket for guys is meticulously created with love and care. Designed to be masculinity and style, this jacket will keep you warm during the colder months. Comes with a prim lower jacket layer, sculpted sleeves and fur collar.

This black dress mixes influences from the east and west. One day while looking at a maid's outfit, I was trying to figure out a way to make it more "normal". Keeping in mind that this outfit is for winter, I integrated fur and made it long sleeves. I also blended a lot of different textures into this outfit and this is the final outcome.

Two fantastic DJs, one from Singapore and the other from Taiwan played their music for us. 5 participants for the lantern making contest. Everybody dressed up in amazing costumes came to The Glass Ark, a brand-new lounge where people from all over the world can gather and get together. The Glass Ark is a special place in the SHIKI sim, where people can come to relax and chill out. Events will be held here on a regular basis and everyone is welcome to come whenever they feel like it. Make this place your hang-out and you'll be sure to meet lots of people from all over the world!

The Changhai Sisters entertained us with their awesome show while we all danced until the end of the event.

The SHIKI sim is a wonderful place with shops selling a variety of items, a relaxing beach, fashion shows and events, and now, a fabulous lounge with a beautiful view of the entire sim.

Logo t-shirts with matching boardies

Six SHIKI logo tanktops. Each design is decorated with the SHIKI logo but in different arrangements to make each one unique. Other features on the tanks are the letters TYO, which stands for Tokyo, where SHIKI is based and the address Nakano-ku, which is where the designer lives. The number 127 has meaning as well, but that's for you to guess. ;)

Women's shorts come in a skin-tight version. The men's shorts are a bit baggier to make it look more like boardies.

Each set comes with tanktop in shirt, jacket, undershirt and underwear layers. Boardie shorts come in pants layer.

Our treasure hunt is still going on throughout the sim. As a hint, there are four treasure boxes that can be found inside the SHIKI shop and they are all on the first floor in easy to find places!
There are 23 boxes in all!!! Make sure you get your other freebies at our welcome center provided by all our talented designers at SHIKI.

SHIKI sim grand opening event! DEBUT!!!!!

*** SHIKI - All set for its big DEBUT ***

The SHIKI sim is a revolution in taste led by style gurus who are redefining SL craftsmanship in everything from fashion and furniture to flora and fauna. Some of the best sculpty artisans have set up shop here - including Tesla Miles, Jennifer Hana (Sculptmix), Jon Haskell (Sculpty Creations) and JubJub Forder (tranQuility). As a sim, SHIKI is about stylish surprise, a strenuous attention to detail, and cosmopolitan flair - qualities epitomised by the flagship Shiki brand as well as the Excelsis modelling agency, which has chosen to site its headquarters in the sim.

The designers on board span the globe - Spica, Massimo and Shiki hail from Japan, Baiastice from Italy, Freshwind from Spain, in addition to the Korean-American Millage Valenti, and stalwart American brands like Swafette Firefly's SF Designs, ZHAO Shoes, Role Optic, and Long Awkward Pose.

There are shops which are just sheer fun - the handheld fans of Digital Eyes, AvaUru's naughty-but-oh-so-nice cakes, and the quirky goods available in Cluster and Love Me Tender. Look out too for Niyanbar, our very own Japanese biker bar run by Niyanba Sidappan, and the SHIKI Showcase, a special area in the sim that honours the idiosyncratic vision of designers like 3Star Tyne and Annesa Stine's Kitsch *En Couture.

On Aug 9, the SHIKI sim opens its doors with DEBUT, a rainbowed, marvellous, friendly, wonderful Sim Opening Party. The ChangHigh Trinity Sisters will be kicking off festivities at 6 a.m. SLT with their mesmerizing mix of pyrotechnics, music and movement. Tuna Oddfellow then brings on his psychedelicious Odd Ball from 7 to 9 a.m. SLT, and the party will wind down to the chillout bossa nova sounds of Winston Ackland from 9 to 10 a.m. SLT. Throughout the 4 hours, there'll be a sim-wide katamari treasure hunt with katamaris galore for the finding and keeping, great freebies from the various designers, and a style competition with cash prizes every hour on the hour.

Celebrate the summer Japanese style with yukatas

Japanese yukatas for the summer season

Here in Japan, we either love or hate summertime. But we all agree on one thing. Summertime is the time to relax, go to the beach and visiting all the festivals going on around the country.
The traditional attire to these festivals, or anywhere for that matter, is the summer yukata. They are usually made of cotton and is meant to be comfortable during the hot summer months. Since there are no pockets to be found in the yukata itself, we carry a bag called kinchaku. The traditional geta sandals are a must to complete the ensemble.

SHIKI-aloha shirts for women

I decided to make a collection of aloha shirts for women. My men's versions have become my bestselling items in my main store and like always, feel bad for the female customers who sometimes come in with their boyfriends. So here they are....three versions and more to come!
I will be releasing women's only designs but these patterns are taken from the men's collection with the sleeves and bottom made shorter to complement the female avie.
Aloha!

SHIKI-swimwear for women-aloha wear

Introducing my new collection of swimwear for women.
It all started when my friend Jeckie told me that so many women in SL wear really revealing bikinis and she gets tired of seeing them. It was funny because I totally agreed with her. So I decided to make these swimsuits and I think they look cute and sexy without being so "out there" or screams "sex"! The bikini top stays in place by tying knots in the back area. The front area criss-crosses for added detail. The bottom are called boy-pants and I notice they are becoming popular in the RL. I decided to go with that cut instead of super sexy ones to create feminine, sexy yet elegant swimwear.
Eacy ensemble comes with a bikini top, two pairs of boy-pants(one fully patterned, the other with a pattern border), and a prim skirt more extra modesty.
I'm sure I'll come up with more sexy ones in my next collection. ;)
