Japanese yukatas for the summer season

Here in Japan, we either love or hate summertime. But we all agree on one thing. Summertime is the time to relax, go to the beach and visiting all the festivals going on around the country.
The traditional attire to these festivals, or anywhere for that matter, is the summer yukata. They are usually made of cotton and is meant to be comfortable during the hot summer months. Since there are no pockets to be found in the yukata itself, we carry a bag called kinchaku. The traditional geta sandals are a must to complete the ensemble.
